After a High Wycombe burglary a man has been jailed for two years.

Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been sentenced for a burglary that occurred in High Wycombe.

Andrew Francis, aged 44, of HMP Ranby, was sentenced on Thursday (8/7) at Aylesbury Crown Court to two years’ imprisonment after being found guilty of one count of burglary.

On 6 November 2019, Francis forced entry to a property in The Pastures, High Wycombe and stole various items of technology such as a laptop and tablet, as well as a watch and money, the overall value of which was around £7,000.

Investigating officer DC Joe Windsor, based at High Wycombe police station, said:

“I would like to thank everyone who helped with this investigation, in particular the victims of this burglary who have had to wait a long time for this outcome.

“I hope that this shows that Thames Valley Police will not tolerate burglary in our policing areas and will always work hard to bring offenders to justice.”
