Leigh-Anne Pinnock

Now world famous as one quarter of Little Mix, Leigh-Anne is a celeb from Hazlemere, High Wycombe.
She (along with the rest of the band) first came to prominence when they won The X Factor in 2011

Al Murray

Al Murray and his alter-ego The pub landlord are both well known in the world of comedy.
But did you know he was from the lovely village of Stewkley?

James Corden

James Corden grew up in Hazlemere in Buckinghamshire and has been pretty successful since.
He wrote and appeared in Gavin & Stacey, has hosted the Grammys, sports quiz shows, appeared in films, plays and now hosts The Late Late Show in the US.
You may well have seen him doing Carpool Karaoke, which all started with this Comic Relief sketch with George Michael.

Sir Nick Clegg

Former leader of the Lib Dems and Deputy Prime Minister in the coalition government, Sir Nick is known for representing Sheffield in the House of Commons, but was actually born in Chalfont St Giles.

Eddie Howe

Eddie Howe was the youngest manager in the Football League when he was appointed Bournemouth manager in January 2009
Since then he's lead them to the Premier League and left in 2020.
Although he moved to Dorset while he was young, he was born in Amersham.

Sir Tim Rice

Legend doesn't cover this guy.
He's won Academy Awards, Golden Globes, Grammys and Tony's during his time as a lyricist.
He's worked a lot with Andrew Lloyd Webber and together they wrote Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Evita ;he also worked on Disney's Aladdin & Beauty and the Beast and worked with Elton John on The Lion King.
He was born in Shardeloes.

Greg Rutherford

This long-jumper got Gold for Great Britain at London 2012 and has also been world and European champion in the sport.
It all started in Bucks - he was born up the road in Milton Keynes.

This comedian, actress and writer is often on your telly, and is a Buckinghamshire original having been born in High Wycombe

Sir Steve Redgrave

This guy is so famous he's got in own statue down in Marlow, which is where he was born.
He's the only man to have won five gold medals at five Olympics in an endurance sport and is the most successful male rower in Olympic history.
