Young woman killed in car crash near Bath
A 19-year-old man has been arrested

A woman in her 20s has died after being hit by a car near Bath this morning.
It happened not long after 6am on the A367 at Clandown near to Peasedown St John.
The woman was prenounced dead at the scene with formal identification yet to take place.
Avon and Somerset Police say her family has been told and are being supported.
A 19-year-old man has been arrested with the police now asking for any witnesses to come forward.
At time of writing the road remains closed for accident investigation work.
