A dad from Durrington is taking a well earned rest, after running ten marathons in ten days.

Carl Orme finished the staggering feat on Friday 23 October in Swindon, having completed a marathon in ten different locations.

He's been raising money for Breast Cancer Now, getting into the spirit by doing all 262 miles dressed as a boob.

Carl has been completing a series of challenges throughout 2020 and is aiming to raise £10,000 for the charity.

After achieving this latest feat, he has so far raised over £8,000.

By the end of the year he hopes to have run the distance of 20 marathons, doing it as his family and friends have been affected by breast cancer.

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, Carl has been finding other ways of fundraising.

In April, he ran up and down his driveway 3,246 times - the equivalent of 26.2 miles.
