Wilshire's Salisbury Plain features in new James Bond movie

If you're heading to the cinema later this week to watch the latest Bond movie, then you might well spot Wiltshire's Salisbury Pain!

It was used as a location for the long awaited 'No Time to Die', which stars Daniel Craig in his last outing as 007.

During filming, motorbikes and several 4x4s with Russian number plates were seen zooming around the military training area whilst several special effects explosions took place.

The Defence Infrastructure Organisation, the section of the Ministry of Defence that manages the military land, says it's "proud" to be involved.

Salisbury Plain is no stranger to starring in blockbuster movies, also being used as a key location for the epic '1917'.

World War One trenches and mock French farmhouse were built near Shrewton. A number of local residents also starred as extras in the film.
