Campaigners are taking to the streets of Bath to call for an end to fox hunting on National Trust land.

The League Against Cruel Sports want to stop 'trail hunting', which is when hounds may accidentally follow a trail of a real fox which technically isn't illegal.

They'll be on Stall Street, outside the Roman Baths, between 11am and 2pm.

"Polling continues to show the majority of people are against fox hunting and 1 in 12 people are members of the National Trust, so we think that should be reflected in the National Trust membership.

"What's vital to us is that awareness is raised about this issue so that as many National Trust members as possible can be informed, enabling them to vote on this for the AGM."

The National Trust is holding its AGM in October when there will be a vote in which members will get the chance to call for a permanent ban on the licensing of trail hunting.
