Police appeal for public’s help after burglary near Bath

Police officers are appealing for the public’s help in identifying several people following a burglary near Bath.

Avon and Somerset Police wish to speak to anyone who might have information relating to the incident which occurred at around 5.20am on 8th August 2024, when four unknown men damaged the main entrance of a shop on Twerton’s High Street.

They entered the store, stole items, and made off from the scene.

Members of the public were spotted on CCTV around the time of the incident, and police believe they may have information which could aid their enquiries.

One of the men pictured is white, of slim build and approximately 30-40 years old. He was wearing a puffer-style jacket, a light-coloured bucket hat, jeans and trainers.

The other men shown are described as wearing two-toned trainers, light-coloured trousers and a black jacket; a white man wearing white trainers, light-coloured trousers and a black jacket; a man wearing black trousers, a light-coloured jacket and black trainers with white soles.

The police are hoping that someone may recognise the clothes or posture of the individuals’ pictures.
