Wiltshire Police have launched an appeal to identify two people following a dog attack in Melksham earlier this month.

Officers say it happened on May 26th, between 1.15pm and 1.30pm.

During the incident, it's reported the victim was walking her dog in Shurnhold Fields - when she saw two dogs with their owners, which were being walked on their leads.

However, one of the two dogs pulled away from its owner and ran towards the victim and her dog.

The victim has picked up her own dog, however the suspect’s dog has bitten the victim on her arm, causing puncture wounds.

If you can help, you are urged to contact police on 101 quoting reference 54240060954.
