Motorcyclist dies in Norton St. Phillip traffic collision

Police are appealing for witnesses.

Police are conducting enquiries following a fatal collision in Norton St Philip yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the A366 Farleigh Road, at about 3.35pm, after a collision between a motorbike and a tractor.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 30's, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers.

A road closure was in place for several hours after the incident but the road was re-opened at 12.30am this morning.

Police are asking for witnesses to the incident to contact them on 101 and give the call-handler the reference number 5222091581.
