Fatal accident closes M5 and police say investigations continue
Fire crews from Bridgwater and Taunton have spent the night on the M5, which was closed southbound, after a fatal accident.

A vehicle left the road between junctions 24 for Bridgwater South and 25 for Taunton.
Paramedics and highways officers were also called to the incident.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We were called just after 4am on Saturday 26 June to a single-vehicle collision on the M5 southbound between junctions 24 for Bridgwater and 25 for Taunton.
"Sadly the passenger of the black Audi died at the scene.
"The driver was arrested and taken to hospital with injuries not believed life-threatening or life-changing.
