Guns N' Roses and Arctic Monkeys have been unveiled as the other Pyramid Stage headliners at this year's Glastonbury festival - along with sir Elton John.

The festival has just posted this year's line up, with Arctic Monkeys due to play on the Friday - their third time - and Guns N' Roses on the Saturday for a debut appearance.

Lizzo will open for the US rockers on the Saturday - with the festival saying she has a 'joint headline billing' .

There's a closer gender balance this year, with just over half of the acts this year being male and 40 per cent are 'non-white, or feature non-white members'

Eurovision winners Måneskin, the Brit-winning girl band Flo and the US country stars the Chicks will also play. Lil Nas X will play before Elton John and Lana Del Rey will headline the Other stage.

The festival costs around £50 million to stage and gives around £3 million to charity each year - helping everything from local villages in Somerset to large international groups like Oxfam, Greenpeace and Water Aid.

A tent city the size of Bath springs up in the Somerset countryside for the festival

This year's tickets - which all sold out last year to those pre-registered - rose by £55 to £340 with booking fee.

This year's 'legend' has also been announced

This year there's an official crowdfunder to win tickets to the festival and raise money for the Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal
