Fire crews called out to 'real-life Hot Fuzz moment' near Chew Magna

There’s been a real-life Hot Fuzz moment near Chew Magna as rescue crews were called out to help a cygnet stuck at a reservoir.

Fire teams from Chew Magna and Bedminster worked together to get the young swan out of the overflow catchment.

After some careful teamwork, the water rescue crews managed to bring it safely to shore.

Sharing the story on Facebook, Avon Fire & Rescue said: ""Any luck catching them swans then?

"A real life Hot Fuzz moment as crews from Chew Magna and Bedminster responded to a cygnet stuck in the overflow catchment of a reservoir near Chew Magna.

"With some careful teamwork, our water rescue crews brought it safely to shore."
