Motorcyclist dies after crash on A350 near Melksham

A section of the road was closed for about 10 hours yesterday

Wiltshire Police are appealing for information following fatal crash on the A350 near Melksham.

Emergency services were called to the section of Western Way between Farmers Roundabout and Semington Roundabout at around 4.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 9 March).

The collision involved a motorcyclist, a white van and a silver Nissan Juke.

Sadly, the motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, died at the scene. Nobody else was injured.

His family have been informed.

A section of the road was closed for about 10 hours to allow the collision investigators to examine the scene.
