Dan Hayfield says he's made friends for life and will always be grateful for the opportunity.
The midfielder made the comments on social media after turning down the offer of a new contract - so he's leaving Bath City.
He's thanked everyone connected to the club for the past two seasons.
Dan said: "Thank you to everyone connected at Bath City for the past two seasons.
"A special mention to all of my teammates, the staff and the fans for all of your support. I have made friends for life and will always be grateful for the opportunity.
"What a club - Thank you Romans!"
A spokesperson from Bath City said: "We can confirm that Dan Hayfield has declined the offer of a new contract and will therefore be leaving the club.
"We thank Dan for all his effort and wish him all the best for the future."
