Button enters electric SUV series against Hamilton and Rosberg
Former Formula One World Champion Jenson Button - who hails from Frome - has announced he will enter and drive for a new team in the all-electric off-road series Extreme E.
Button becomes the third F1 champion to launch a team for the maiden championship starting in April in Saudi Arabia - alongside Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg.
Button’s new JBXE team is the tenth entry to the series which involves electric SUVs competing in extreme environments around the world - which have already been damaged or affected by climate and environmental issues.
