A body has been found in the search for a man who went missing from Melksham earlier today (October 25).

Wiltshire Police say they believe it is Adam Watson and his family have been told, although formal identification of the body has not yet been completed.

In a statement the force says its thoughts are with his family.

It comes as across the wider South West region, two bodies have also been found in two separate missing persons investigations in Somerset, in the last two days.

Both were found in Yeovil, one in water at Ninesprings Country Park yesterday and the other at Lynx West Trading Estate today.

One is thought to be a 50-year-old man called Anthony and the other a man called Alan, who was also 50.

Just like Adam Watson's case, Avon and Somerset Police do not believe either of those deaths are suspicious either.
