Bath City are back training and will play again on Saturday, with the approval of Alex Fletcher's family.

The forward is continuing to receive hospital treatment after his severe head injury during the game against Dulwich Hamlet in the National League South last Tuesday.

The first team will face Billericay Town away in the FA Trophy on Saturday.

Manager Jerry Gill told the club's website

”Alex is uppermost in our minds throughout all of this. The past week has been incredibly hard, but we are a club united in our support for Alex, Ellie his fiance and Alex’s family. We are fully aware and in total agreement as a group that we have a duty of care to our football club to resume playing games and we will continue to be professional and committed in doing this to our best capabilities.”

Meanwhile a fundraiser set up to help support his family has now raised over £14,000.
