A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of another man in North Ayrshire.

Alan Lawson (36) from Saltcoats died in hospital days after being assaulted at a house in Alexander Avenue in Largs over the weekend of February 3.

A 29-year-old man is due at court today and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
