A murder investigation was launched after 41-year-old Susan Turner's body was found in a flat in Nursery Hall in the Whitletts area on the outskirts of Ayr town centre.

Police were called to the flat around 10:15am on Monday the 27th of March, and after initially saying the death was 'unexplained' launched the investigation.
