Images released as British Transport Police investigate assault on train

The incident happened on a Scotrail service from Glasgow to Kilwinning back in August

British Transport Police has released CCTV images of two men officers want to speak to in connection with a serious assault which took place on a train between Glasgow Central and Kilwinning.

It happened at around 11.30pm on Saturday 12 August 2023 on board a Scotrail service.

The men are both described as white, aged in their mid to late twenties.

The first was of a muscular build with dark short hair and was wearing a black Nike t-shirt and jeans.

The second was of a medium build wearing a dark skip cap, dark t-shirt and jeans.

Detective Constable Finlay Bruce said: “We would ask these males or anyone who may recognise them to contact us. Additionally, if anyone witnessed this assault or has any information about it, please get in touch”.
