Police find body in search for missing Ayr man
The death is not being treated as suspicious.

A body has been found in woods in Ayr.
Around 1.15 pm on Monday, police were notified of a man’s body found in the wooded area of Holmston.
Earlier in the day, the Ayrshire force had put out an appeal to find 55-year-old Robert Pirie, missing from Craigstone Avenue in Ayr.
Although a formal identification has still to take place, officers believe it to be Mr Pirie and have been liaising with his family.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal
