Police have named the 19-year-old who died in a crash at the weekend as local teen Adam Smith

Police have revealed the identity of a teenager who died in a car crash last weekend.
Local 19-year-old Adam Smith has been named as the man who died following a crash near Ballantrae.
It happened around 12:40am on Sunday 14 May on the A77, and involved a blue Ford Fiesta.
Police are continuing their enquires into the crash, and are seeking assistance from anyone near the area on Saturday night.
Sergeant Stewart Taylor from Irvine’s Road Policing Unit said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Adam at this difficult time.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone who was in the area and witnessed the crash or who may have information which can assist, and who has not already spoken to officers to get in touch.
“I would also appeal to anyone with dash-cam footage to contact us.”
