Woman taken to hospital after Aberdeenshire dog attack

A woman was taken to hospital after being attacked by a dog in Aberdeenshire last week.

Emergency services were called to the Udny Station area near Ellon on Thursday 19 December following reports a woman and a dog had been attacked by another dog.

Police said the woman was taken to hospital for treatment and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a woman and a dog being attacked by a dog in the Udny Station area around 4.10pm on Thursday, 19 December.

“The woman was taken to hospital for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
