Three rescued from water near Aberdeen beach
Coastguard teams received the call this afternoon
Three people have been rescued from the water near Aberdeen beach.
Coastguard teams from Aberdeen and Cruden Bay, as well as the RNLI, were sent to Donmouth at 1.15pm.
All three individuals were returned to land and one person was passed into the case of paramedics.
They were then transported to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
A spokesperson for the Coastguard said: “Three people reported to have gone into the water at Donmouth, Aberdeen, at about 1.15pm on 5 February were confirmed to have returned to land safe and well.
“HM Coastguard sent Aberdeen and Cruden Bay Coastguard Rescue Teams as well as the RNLI's inshore and all-weather lifeboats from Aberdeen.
“One of the three people was passed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.”
