Several cars have been targeted during a number of break-ins in Aberdeen.

Eight cars on Northfield Place, Richmond Street and Kintore Place in Rosemount were targeted overnight on November 15 and 16.

Entry wasn't gained to some of them, but small personal items were taken from several other cars.

Officers believe the incidents are linked and are continuing enquiries.

Police have also reminded motorists to ensure their cars are securely locked.

Detective Constable Lindsay Hellings said: “There have been a number of break-ins in the and our investigation is focusing on these potentially being linked.

“I’d urge anyone with information, or who has seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area, to come forward. I’m particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to remind people to ensure that vehicles are securely locked.”
