Road closed after pedestrian struck by vehicle

An Aberdeen city road has been closed after a woman was struck by a vehicle.

Emergency services were called to Canal Street, near Mounthooly Roundabout, at 9.40am on Thursday 6 February.

The pedestrian has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.

Police have closed Mounthooly Way to King Street while investigation work is carried out.

Enquiries are ongoing and motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
