A person is receiving medical treatment after reportedly becoming trapped under a forklift at the Port of Aberdeen.

It happened at Streamline Shipping Group in Black's Lane around 11.11am.

Scottish fire and rescue teams attended - the person was taken into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We attended, alongside emergency service partners, an incident at Streamline Shipping Group, Black's Lane in Aberdeen.

“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances and specialist resources to the scene after the alarm was raised at 11.11am on Thursday, September 26.

“One casualty was passed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
