A man has pleaded guilty to culpable homicide following the death of a 43-year-old man in Aberdeen.

Forty-three-year-old Dawid Majewicz attacked Jacek Dembinski outside Rosehill Court on Tuesday, 27 August, 2024.

Mr Dembinski died following the injury and Dawid Majewicz was later arrested and charged in connection with the death.

Sentence has been adjourned until next month for background reports.

Detective Inspector Gavin Fleming said: “Majewicz is now facing the consequences of his actions on that fateful day.

"Jacek was a much loved member of his family and they are devastated by his death. This in no way lessens the pain of Jacek’s family but I hope it will provide them with some solace that the person responsible for their loved one’s death has been convicted."
