Police confirm 49-year-old unresponsive when they arrived

A man has been found dead in Irvine on Friday morning.
Police say they were alerted to reports of an 'unresponsive' man on East Road just after 10am.
The 49-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this stage the death is being treated as unexplained, with police saying their enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Spokesperson said: "Around 10.10am on Friday, 24 January, 2025, we were called to a report of an unresponsive man in East Road, Irvine.
"Emergency services attended and a 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His family is aware.
"The death is being treated as unexplained but it is not believed to be suspicious.
"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
