Would you take the plunge on an abandoned public toilet as your next business venture?

There will be a chance to purchase a 5.35sqm former public toilet at Shepherd Commercial's property auction this week.

Located on Aberdeen's Skene Street just off of Rosemount Viaduct, the single-storey unit has a guide price of £1,650.

It could also be repurposed from a bog-standard loo into another suitable alternative use if the new owner obtains planning permission.

The lot would require refurbishment as it is currently out of use.

It was previously used as a public convenience, with entry to the unit via a metal pedestrian door.

The unit will go under the hammer on Thursday 20 June.
