Cyclist taken to hospital after Aberdeen crash

It happened at Duthie Roundabout last night

A cyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a car in Aberdeen.

Emergency services were called to Duthie Roundabout around 6.10pm yesterday.

The male cyclist was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Meanwhile, the driver of the car was uninjured and will be subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal

A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: "Around 6.10pm on Wednesday, 14 February, 2024, police received a report of a road crash involving a cyclist and a car at the Duthie Roundabout in Aberdeen.

“Emergency services attended and the male cyclist was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Hospital for treatment. The driver of the car was not injured.

“The driver of the car will be subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.”
