Aberdeen man sentenced to more than four years for drug offences
Cocaine worth more than £300,000 had been recovered by officers
An Aberdeen man will spend more than four years behind bars after pleading guilty to two drug offences.
It's after cocaine worth around £225,700 was found hidden within a wall bordering farmland in Kingswells, Aberdeenshire in December 2022.
Officers also recovered cocaine worth around £94,000 in the Granite City in April 2022.
Connor Smart, 26, was sentenced today (Thursday) at the High Court in Glasgow to four years and two months in prison.
Detective Inspector Robin Sim of the Specialist Crime Division said: "This sentencing sends a clear message to anyone who is involved in organised crime that the supply of illegal substances will not be tolerated in our communities and underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
