Man, 24, charged following £240,000 cannabis plants recovered in Aberdeen
Officers made the discovery during a search at a Torry property on Thursday.
A man is due in court following the discovery of a large quantity of cannabis plants at a property in Torry.
Police officers from the Community Investigation Unit carried out a search at an address on Kirkhill Road on Thursday 28 June.
Cannabis plants with a potential street value of £240,000 were seized during the search.
A 24-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with drug offences and he is due to appear at Aberdeen Sherriff Court on Friday 28 June.
Sergeant Mark Rennie said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and Police Scotland is committed to disrupting the cultivation and sale of illegal substances.
