The site of a former Peterhead nightclub is up for auction.

Nemesis, which closed its doors in 2012, has an opening bid of £60,000.

The property on Marischal Street is also said to have rental potential of £25,000 per year.

Future Property Auctions, which is arranging the sale, said the 250sqm vacant site would make an ideal coffee house or pub.

A statement on the company’s website said: “The premises are located on the main stretch of Marischal Street, occupying a prime location with in the Town, above the recently opened Brewdog premises.

“Peterhead is Aberdeenshire's second biggest town with a population of approximately 20,000.

“Close by are many amenities including shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants, with world famous seafood available in the harbour.”
