2025 was certainly a huge year for streaming platform Netflix. As well as releasing movies such as The Thursday Murder Club and KPop Demon Hunters, the platform also introduced users to new series such as Adolescence and Missing You, as well as delighting us with old classics such as Squid Game, The Night Agent, and of course, the final ever Stranger Things.

It's now time to look ahead to 2026, with Netflix promising users some huge new (and old) TV shows and movies, sure to get you all glued to your TV screens!

TV shows coming out on Netflix in 2026

Stranger Things (episode 8)

Release date: 1st January


Stranger Things concludes with the final ever episode on 1st January, with a running time of two hours and five minutes.

Release date: 1st January

Bridgerton series 4

Release date: 29th January (part one) and 26th February 2026 (part two)


Synopsis: The fourth season of Bridgerton turns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict (Luke Thompson). Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down, until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother's masquerade ball.

Take That docu-series

Synopsis: Take That is the story of one of the greatest boy bands in UK history. For more than 30 years, they have brought us hit after hit, 12 of which became UK Number 1s. Synopsis: Netflix is in production of S3 of the hit series Love Is Blind, where singletons in the UK who want to be loved for who they are, rather than what they look like, will sign up for a less conventional approach to modern dating. Love Is Blind: UK S3 will see singles talk to a host of potential love interests without the distractions from the outside world, with the hope of building a meaningful connection. Once cupid's work is done, they will propose to their chosen partner and then lay their eyes on their fiancé for the first time. Being Gordon Ramsay

Synopsis: Being Gordon Ramsey is a documentary series about multi-Michelin-starred British chef Gordon Ramsay. The series will follow Gordon Ramsay over nine months in the lead up to his biggest restaurant venture to date: the opening of five culinary experiences in London's 22 Bishopsgate, the City of London's tallest building. The series will have exclusive access to the Ramsay family, as Gordon balances other work commitments and life as a husband and father, with wife Tana and their six children.

Synopsis: In the early 1990s, Her Majesty's Customs and Excise was losing its battle with illegal drug smuggling across Britain's borders. The solution was extraordinary. In a top-secret operation, a small team of Customs employees were sent undercover. Their task - to infiltrate Britain's most dangerous drug gangs. But these were not trained spies. They were normal men and women, plucked from ordinary lives around the UK, put through a basic training regime and tasked with building new identities in the criminal underworld. At Home with the Furys (series two)

Heartstopper Forever
