It's after an elderly woman suffered a broken hip when she was hit by a cyclist back in March
Detectives investigating a hit and run in Derby that left an elderly woman with a broken hip have released CCTV footage. A cyclist collided with the victim who's in her 70's on East Street back in March. The footage released is of a man officers believe will have information that could help them.
"We are continuing our appeal for witnesses to come forward as part of an investigation into a hit and run in Derby city centre that left the victim with a broken hip.
We were called to a report of a cyclist colliding with an elderly woman in East Street, at the junction of Albion Street in Derby just before 12.15pm on Wednesday 22 March.
The victim, a woman in her 70s, was taken to hospital and suffered a broken hip.
We originally appealed for a man to contact us in connection with the incident as part of our enquiries and now we are releasing CCTV footage of the same man as we believe he will have crucial information which can help the investigation."
