A large stash of Class A drugs was uncovered inside a suspect's underpants when Nottinghamshire Police were investigating a burglary in Sutton-in-Ashfield this week.

Officers arrested a suspect on Monday 17th July, part of their investigation into a burglary at a home in Bathwood Drive, Sutton-in-Ashfield, in June.

It was after they received reports that a man had breached a restraining order by approaching a woman.

The suspect was taken into custody, officers became suspicious about his behaviour and a strip search was carried out, finding crack cocaine and heroine.

A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, harassment and burglary.
