Dog rescued "unscathed" after 100ft fall in the Peak District
The Mountain Rescue team say she got lots of cuddles from the team!
Mountain Rescuers in Derbyshire were surprised to find a dog completely unharmed when it fell 100ft off a Peak District cliff yesterday morning.
A woman was out walking her two dogs at 6:30am when one fell from the edge of Thor's Cave, near Wetton.
Whilst searching for her brown Spaniel "Fig", the woman fell and sustained several injuries.
She called her friend for help and 999.
The woman was checked over by the ambulance service and is suspected to have sustained a fractured finger, but was discharged by the ambulance crew to make her own way to further treatment.
Descending Thor's Cave on ropes and using a zoom and infra red cameras on drones, they found Fig unharmed.
