Three-year-old fighting for life after car rolls over in Birmingham
A woman has been arrested after the crash in Yardley on Wednesday night.
A woman has been arrested after a toddler suffered life-threatening injuries when a car hit a fence and rolled in Birmingham on Wednesday night.
The driver sustained a head injury in the incident on Church Road, Yardley shortly before 10.30pm on Wednesday.
According to West Midlands Police a 22-year-old woman received hospital treatment and has now been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Sergeant Julie Lyman, from the area's serious collision investigation team, said: "This is a tragic incident and we are supporting the family of the little girl who has been badly injured.
"If anyone saw what happened or has dash cam footage, and has not spoken to us, I would ask them to get in touch.
"We would also ask people not to speculate about what happened at this stage until we have completed a full investigation."
