The sale of former rugby union Premiership club Worcester to Atlas Group has now been completed.

Full details of their existence - including when they will return and in which division - are still to be confirmed.

Atlas is led by former Worcester chief executive Jim O'Toole, and it said in a statement that is looking forward to delivering its vision for rugby, the business and the wider community at Sixways.

It now wants to hold a fans forum and says it wants to ensure a bright future, but fans are calling for details.

Worcester Warriors Supporters Trust said it is now "vitally important the whole of the Warriors' support comes together as one".

"The supporters trust will be the best way to do this," it said.

"Details of the public open meeting will follow as soon as possible, but we will need members with various skillsets to make this a success."

In a statement, Atlas said it acknowledges it has been quiet in the media until today.

It said it had been "focused on the complexities of the deal and the various elements required to regenerate a sustainable business for the community of Worcester".
