Woman dies in crash involving lorry, van and car in Hereford

A woman has died following a crash in Hereford involving a lorry, van and car.

West Mercia Police say the crash involved a black Mini, blue Ford Transit van and HGV tanker.

West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the A465 in Allensmore, Hereford, at 10.59am yesterday (Sun 17 Dec).

One ambulance and paramedic officer attended the scene - three patients were discovered upon arrival.

The first was a 62-year-old woman - the driver of the Mini - who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other casualties were assessed and didn't require any treatment from ambulance staff. They were discharged at the scene.

West Mercia Police say they're appealing for witnesses to the crash to get in touch.
