Woman charged with assaulting two police officers in Rugby

Warwickshire Police say the incident happened at the weekend

A woman has been charged in connection with an incident involving the assault of two police officers in Rugby at the weekend.

Carly McDowall, aged 42 of Teeswater Close, Long Lawford, has been charged with two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker.

She will appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court on 29 April.

The charges are in connection with an incident on Market Place in the town at around 1.55am on Sunday morning (20 March).
