Woman arrested on suspicion of murder in Cofton Hackett

Emergency services were called to Middle Drive in Worcestershire on Sunday 18 April where a 59 year old was pronounced dead.

In a statement, West Mercia Police said “Police were called at around 8pm on Sunday 18 April regarding concern for the welfare of a 59 year old man at a house in Cofton Hackett, North Worcestershire.

"A woman in her 50’s was arrested on suspicion of murder but has since been released under investigation whilst further enquires are concluded.”

His death is currently being treated as suspicious.

Its understood the victim worked for West Midlands Ambulance service.

Non-emergency services operations delivery director, Michelle Brotherton, said: "This is an extremely sad time for Lacy's family and all of his work colleagues at WMAS. He was a dedicated member of staff who would always go above and beyond, often coming in at short notice if required, without hesitation.

"He took great pride in his work and thoroughly enjoyed helping our PTS patients. Lacy was always extremely pleasant and polite on the occasions I had the pleasure of meeting him."
