West Midlands charity workers and athletes among many in King's Birthday Honour's List

Hundreds of people from the West Midlands have been named on the King's Birthday Honour's List.

From charity workers, to athletes and musicians, the list shows a mix for people receiving an honour.

Sally Johnson lost her son in 2014 to a rare form of cancer and set up the charity 'The Harry Johnson Trust' to help other families dealing with the same.

Sally is receiving a BEM in the Honour's List and said: "I couldn't do it without the support of my family and friends, who come put and shake buckets and give talks.

"It really is for us all because I couldn't do it without them, they hold me up."
