Two teens stabbed in Birmingham city centre

Two 17-year-old boys have suffered serious injuries after a stabbing in Birmingham city centre.

It happened in New Street, close to the Odeon cinema, just before 8.30am this morning (November 17).

In a statement, West Midlands Police said: "The young men, both 17, have been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

"We've cordoned off the area and fast-track enquiries are ongoing to try and find those responsible.
