Two teens arrested after Walsall break-in

Police were called to reports of a property being broken into in the early hours of Wednesday (10 Jan).

A 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl have been arrested after police received reports of a break-in in Walsall.

It happened on Bridge Street in the early hours of Wednesday (10 Jan) and the two teens were arrested shortly afterwards.

A knife was found on the boy when officers searched him.

Both were detained on suspicion of burglary with intent to steal. The boy was arrested on suspicion of having a knife in a public place.

They have since been placed on bail with strict conditions while police carry out their enquiries.
