Two people dead following incident in Shrewsbury

Police believe no-one else is involved.

Two people have been found dead overnight in Shrewsbury.

Emergency Services were called to Newbrook Drive in the Bayston Hill area at around 11pm last night (Thursday).

Concern had been raised for the welfare of two people at the address.

The man and womans deaths are currently being treated as unexplained.

It's not believed though anyone else was involved.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said:

“When crews arrived, they found two patients: a man and a woman.

“Sadly, it quickly became clear that it was not possible to save them they were both confirmed dead at the scene.”
