Two males - including teenager - charged after car theft in Rugby

Two males have been charged with burglary after a house in Cawston, Rugby was targeted.

Ayden Cooper, 21, of Lakes Road, Birmingham was arrested in Erdington following a police pursuit. He was charged with burglary and dangerous driving.

A 16-year-old boy from Birmingham who can’t be named for legal reasons has been charged with burglary, possession of cannabis and receiving stolen goods.

The victim reported offenders had forced entry to his property, stolen car keys and taken the car from his drive in the early hours of yesterday (Monday 29 November) morning.

Both defendants appeared at Coventry Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
