Three charged following Sparkbrook shooting

Police have charged three men in connection with a shooting in Sparkbrook last month.

A man was shot in his leg in Moseley Road during the early hours of 11 February.

Following enquiries police arrested Daneton Bailey-Warren and Abdoulie Anderson, both aged 20, along with Enrico Hendricks, 24, all from Birmingham, this week.

They have now all been charged with wounding, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and conspiracy to rob.

They appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court today and were remanded into custody ahead of another hearing at Crown Court.
