Teenager robbed in violent attack in Birmingham

A CCTV image have been released of a man police want to speak to.

At around 8.30pm on Saturday 8 July, a 17 year-old boy was waiting for his train on platform one of Stechford Railway Station.

Three men walked down the station stairs to the platform and threatened him, with one showing a knife in his waistband.

The teenager shouted at them and they then punched and kicked him to the ground before taking his bag, mobile phone and one of his trainers.

British Transport Police officers investigating a robbery have released a CCTV image in connection.

Officers believe the man in the CCTV images may have information that could help with their investigation.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 665 of 8 July.

Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
